The Ultimate Guide to Los Angeles Halloween Events in 2022

Boo! Stop whatever you’re doing right now, grab a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew from Dunkin’ and get ready for Spooky SZN because it’s starting a whole lot earlier this year!

Brands, stores, businesses, and mainstream media have all finally caught on to the fact that celebrating Halloween for just one month is simply not enough! We need Halloween all year long, but I’ll settle for Halloween for at least two full months. This year is the first year I have noticed Halloween and general fall decor popping up in stores as early as August.

On top of that, theme parks and amusements have been announcing their Halloween events and teasers since late July. Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights started buzzing around mid-Summer, and Disneyland released Oogie Boogie Bash tickets back in July just for the event to sell completely out within a week — the fastest tickets for this event have EVER sold out before! I’m so glad I secured my October ticket early! Pro Tio: If you’re still looking to score tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash, the only legitimate site to do so is via Ticket Swap. I used this site to purchase last-minute tickets to Star Wars Nite and the process was seamless and secure (this is not a paid ad lol).

Another thing I’ve noticed for Los Angeles, in particular, is that some of our biggest Halloween events have not only announced their 2022 plans, but they’ve already begun selling tickets! What u consider to be “The Big 3” Halloween events in Los Angeles all launched ticket sales the week of August 22. These three are Haunt O’ Ween, Nights of the Jack, and LA Haunted Hayride. Each of these events is among the most popular Halloween events in Los Angeles, and for good reason. Two of these three are on my must-attend list every year, and this year will be no different. However, I did want to make a prediction for two events that I think might become one of my favorites this year. Those are, Cemetery Lane and Bob Baker’s Halloween Spooktacular!

Because I mentioned a few of my favorites, allow me to recap my 2021 Spooky Season for a moment. I was fortunate enough to attend Nights of the Jack and Haunt of Halloween as media and both events were great! Nights of the Jack was clearly the more seasoned event of the two, but Haunt of Halloween held its own with a haunted mini museum, interactive elements, live music, and a black light maze! Aside from these two events, I love Oogie Boogie Night, per usual, and Haunt O’ Ween!

I’m looking forward to those events again, but I’m also hoping to diversify my list of 2022 Halloween events in Los Angeles that I attend. Maybe this complete list of Halloween events in Los Angeles will not only help you schedule out all of your haunted hangouts this spooky season but introduce you to some new, local spooks, as well! Don’t forget to share this list with your coven and follow along with my Halloween adventures on Instagram and TikTok!

Last thing! I will be updating this blog as more events are announced, so be sure to frequent back here to see all of the most up-to-date Los Angeles Halloween Events lists! Happy Haunting!
